Why does everyone look forward to a holiday in summer and not the autumn when the weather is damp dismal and gloomy? Why not winter when freezing weather conditions prevents us from leaving the home? Alicante is perhaps best known as the gateway to the Costa Blanca, famed more for its airport than for the tourist trapping provided by more familiar neighbours, Benidorm and Denia. gableventfan, madonnaholiday, rigidsumppump.
